1. HOW TO GET TO? By train. By plane. By car.BY TRAIN:A lot of city buses (price: 1.5-2.5 UAH/one way – 0.15-0.25 EURO) are going all over the city. There is also a trouble, that biggest part of streets and stations are written in Ukrainian language. Sorry, but you are suppose to ask people around you. IMPORTANT: Not all the Ukrainians speak English, so ask people under 30 years!
If you are not ready for adventures like this, you can use taxi service. But here is also important thing: you should better call for taxi, but you shouldn’t use taxi, standing near the station – you will save your money, cause they usually take price twice higher, that normal taxi.

BY PLANE:There are buses, which depart every 30 minutes (price: 40 UAH/per person – 3.65 EUR 5 USD). They are fast and comfortable. In 30-40 minutes you’ll arrive to the Central Train Station.
BY BUS:I don’t believe that someone will come there, but … There is not very good, understandable and comfortable road interchange and my main advice is: “Use taxi service”.
Important! When you call to the taxi, ask an operator the price of your ride. When you’ll pay, give to the driver exactly the sum, which was fixed.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT:You can buy tickets for public transport before ride or in process of your ride (except underground). Tickets are the same for tram, trolleybus and bus (Price – 1.5 UAH/per person one way – 0,15 EUR 0,19 USD). You must punch your ticket!
In underground you should buy jetton and put it in the automat at the entrance (price – 1.7 UAH/per person one way – 0,18 EUR 0,25 USD)
IMPORTANT: Public transport works till 24 (12 p.m.). After that time you should use taxi or walking over the city by pass. From Bingo, where the festival will take place to the place you stay taxi can cost approximately 30-80 UAH (it really depends) 3-8 EUR 4-10 USD
2. WHERE TO LIVE? Hostels. Hotels. Apartments. HOSTELSThere are several different variants to stay. Unfortunately, all the hostels are a bit far from BINGO, where the festival will take place.

HOTELS:Very expensive. Unreasonably expensive. So we do not recommend you to stay in hotels.

TELEPHONE SERVICE:• We recommend you to buy sim-card of any Ukrainian operator for comfortable and permanent connection. A little bit cheaper card – worse communication, a little bit more expansive card – better communication. But for short stay it’s not really important.
• There are also phone automats (working with cards or coins) in the city, but it’s not so easy to find them, so you’d better not relay on it.
INTERNET:• There are not really much internet-cafe and clubs in Kiev. But if you’ll find symbol
е – try and may be you’ll be lucky :)
You will find Internet for granted at the Main Post Office on Maydan Nezalezhnosti and in shopping moll "Metrograd" - underground station Lva Tolstogo
4. CURRENCY EXCHANGE Exchange rate. Where? Official currency of Ukraine is hryvnia, also spelled sometimes as Hryvna or Grivna (UAH).
At the railway station and the airport exchange rate is almost always unprofitable.
We recommend that you change small amount of money enough just to get to the centre / to your place of residence.

IMPORTANT:Not everywhere in Kiev you can pay by credit card! You can use it in big supermarkets and shops, as well as in some bars (not all!) Therefore, always keep some money in cash

For stalls, small shops, the majority of pubs, taxi etc you will need cash.
5. FOOD & DRINKS What? Where? How much?Prices for food and drink in Kiev relatively low.
0,5 glass of Ukrainian beer in a pub in average costs 15-30 UAH 1.4-2.8 EUR 1.8-4 USD
0,5 glass of foreign beer – 30-50 UAH 2.8-4.5 EUR 4-6 USD
Prices for vodka, cognac and other drinks are very varied, depending on pub.
In the supermarket a bottle of beer costs 4,5-15 UAH 0.4-1.4 EUR 0.5-1.9 USD
A bottle of vodka starts from 30 UAH 3 EUR 4USD
We recommend you to eat in snack-bar «Пузата хата»/Puzata Khata
Average meal will cost 50 UAH 4,5 EUR 6 USD
